Fernando Albuquerque Costa holds a PhD in Education Sciences from the University of Lisbon. He is currently a professor and researcher at the Institute of Education of the same university. Since the mid-1990s he has been connected to issues directly related to the use of digital technologies in an educational context, having coordinated several research and intervention projects, some of them of international scope. More recently, he was responsible for the LIDIA Project – Adult Digital Literacy, which resulted in an e-book with proposals for activities aimed at the digital inclusion of adults.
